Give Me A Break designs mystery holiday packages for travellers seeking a holiday with a difference. The holiday package includes flights, accommodation and activities that are custom designed by their travel agents to match customer preferences and budget.
Give Me A Break came to us with a new concept for the travel industry.
They had a good understanding of the market from working as travel agents for many years, but they needed help to translate their vision into an online business.
Our team worked alongside Give Me a Break to:
- Design the concept
- Design the brand logo and a brand guide
- Develop the website and source supporting technology to provide an easy user experience and automate as much of the process as possible.
A key element of the website is a mystery holiday questionnaire. This is a customised survey questionnaire which guides visitors through the process of detailing their holiday preferences, budget and interests. The survey incorporates graphic devices and a progress meter to make the questionnaire both fun and easy to complete.
The questionnaire uses a modified checkout process to both gather information and generate an order. The order then provides all the details Give Me a Break needs to design a customised holiday experience.
Since online mystery holidays was a new concept, Give Me a Break needed to educate clients on the mystery concept. We suggested a video explaining how the concept worked in clear and simple steps and developed this as an animation in-house.
The site also includes postcard testimonials that Give Me A Break can update themselves as new feedback comes in from customers.
Clevvi’s brand and content specialists worked alongside our technical developers to provide a total solution for Give Me a Break, including design of the logo, development of a brand guideline and the website build.
The range of services we offer in-house meant that Give Me A Break could come to us with their idea and we could build it to a business, beyond just providing a website. We also considered how the business could be automated and the experience could be easy and fun for visitors.
For maximum visual impact and brand cohesion, Clevvi also designed secret letters and envelopes that are posted to clients to open at various stages during their mystery trip.
We chose an open source ecommerce system (CS-Cart) and this project called upon our engineering and programming ability to customise the system to meet Give Me a Break’s specific needs.
